Leo's Room
Leo's room is named after Leo Ferrero Lombroso, the promising young writer and playwright, son of Gina Lombroso and Guglielmo Ferrero, who slept here and wrote, captivated by the wonderful view of the Ema valley from the window, his "Diary of a privileged man under fascism."
The furnishings date from the early 1900s, and the double bed is accessorized with modern wooden slatted bedsteads and comfortable high-quality mattress. The room is equipped with air conditioning for both cooling and heating. The bathroom was originally the only bathroom on the first floor of the villa with a window and a splendid view; it has been restored by giving it to the exclusive use of the room by recovering the faux-marble wall and ceiling decoration, then equipped with thermo-furniture.
