Torraccia di Presura is located in a beautiful part of the Chianti Classico area where vineyards alternate with olive groves and woods of domestic and maritime pine, on one of the slopes overlooking the Ema River, about 15 km south of Florence. Since 1986, when the first vineyard was purchased, the estate has expanded over the years to its present 75 hectares, of which about 35 are planted with vineyards and 16 with olive groves.
Tastings are held inside the 19th-century historic-rural complex of Villa Ulivello, on the premises that were originally the stable, carriage house and sharecropper's house. During warm weather, it is also possible to take advantage of the large furnished garden for outdoor tastings.
The wines of Torraccia di Presura are the result of work carried out with care and passion at each stage and are an expression of the Chianti Classico tradition combined with the continuous search for high quality.
The strategic location of the agriturismo makes it easy to visit many of Tuscany's art cities as well as small, enchanting rural villages.
